About the role

We are seeking a Risk and Audit Manager - Claims to join our team for a fixed-term contract covering parental leave. This position is essential in maintaining effective risk management and compliance within our organization.

Key facts

Location: Parramatta or Newcastle

Engagement: Full time, fixed-term contract from August 2026 until June 2027

Team: Claims

What you'll do

- Oversee risk management processes and ensure compliance within the claims department.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance audit practices and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management or audit within the insurance sector.
- A relevant degree in finance, business,



or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Nice to have

- Professional certifications such as CPA or CIA.
- Experience with risk management frameworks and audit methodologies.

Skills & tools

- Proficiency in risk management software and audit tools.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the insurance industry.
