Your part in the Blue Care Team
Our dynamic retirement livings team at Fraser Shores 1 Retirement Village in Hervey Bay is looking for committed and passionate Weekend Coordinator to join their dedicated and close-knit team on a casual basis. Blue Care operate over 32 retirement villages across Queensland, with more than 3,300 residents choosing to make a Blue Care communities their home.
Reporting to the Village Manager, the role is responsible for providing professional and efficient coordination of administration and operational functions on weekends and public holidays. Another primary responsibility is for responding and making critical decision to individual resident and village emergency situations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all residents in accordance with the organisations policies and procedures.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide professional first point of contact / reception service to internal and external customers either direct, by phone or email including operational and sales enquiry.
- Undertake general administration including but not limited to updating and preparing documents, maintaining financial, business and resident records, preparation, copying and distribution of resident communication.
- Address enquiries efficiently and effectively providing accurate information within the scope of the position or coordinating messages and referral to relevant staff.
- Report complaints for resolution, and support an environment for all residents to experience high levels of engagement and satisfaction.
- Manage emergency response procedures, including responding to resident emergency call system,
provision of first aid and reporting.
What makes a difference for us?
Demonstrated experience in responding to Workplace Health and Safety emergency procedures.
Effective written and interpersonal communication skills.
Certificate III in Aged Care, Community Services or Individual Support is highly desirable.
Experience in working in a multidisciplinary team.
Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
Current driver’s licence.
Experience in retirement living, senior’s housing or aligned sector is highly regarded.
