You do not need previous automotive sales experience, however you must have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and the commitment to develop into a high-performing sales professional.

About the Role

As a Sales Cadet, you will be trained in all areas of automotive sales while working alongside an experienced and supportive team.

This role is suited to someone who is serious about developing a long-term career in sales and is prepared to learn the skills, product knowledge and customer service standards required to succeed in a professional dealership environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting customers throughout the vehicle purchasing journey

- Learning Toyota product knowledge, sales processes and dealership systems





- Responding to customer enquiries and following up leads

- Supporting the sales team with vehicle deliveries and administration

- Maintaining high standards of vehicle and showroom presentation

- Building strong relationships with customers and the local community

- Assisting with dealership events, vehicle displays and promotions

- Working towards developing your own customer base and sales opportunities

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

- Professional, reliable and well-presented

- Confident speaking with customers in person and over the phone

- Motivated to learn and committed to building a long-term career

- Organised, punctual and able to follow through on tasks

- Positive, resilient and willing to be coached

- Comfortable working in a team environment

- Able to provide a high level of customer service

- Confident using computers and learning new systems

- The holder of a current Victorian Driver Licence

- At least 18 years of age

Previous sales, retail, customer service or automotive experience would be highly regarded, but is not essential. The right attitude, professionalism and willingness to learn are most significant.
