Our client is a fast-growing Australian private credit investment manager operating in construction finance, commercial mortgages, and other real asset-backed lending strategies.
We are partnering with them to appoint a Distribution Manager- Private Credit, a pure investor-facing role focused on raising and maintaining wholesale capital to support ongoing lending activity.
The Opportunity
This is a hands‑on capital raising role.
You will be responsible for developing and activating relationships with wholesale investors, family offices, and private wealth advisers, with the objective of driving inflows into private credit strategies.
The business is in a growth phase, with solid deal flow and an immediate need for experienced capital to support deployment. This role suits someone who can open doors quickly and convert relationships into committed capital.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships across family offices, HNW/UHNW investors, and adviser networks
- Originate capital into private credit and alternative investment strategies
- Lead investor engagement including meetings, presentations, and due diligence coordination
- Support onboarding of new investors and ongoing capital commitments
- Work closely with senior leadership on fundraising strategy and pipeline development
- Maintain accurate CRM tracking and investor reporting
About You
- 5+ years’ experience in private credit, alternatives, fixed income, or funds distribution
- Proven ability to raise capital from wholesale or sophisticated investor channelsli>
- Established network across private wealth advisers, family offices, or HNW/UHNW clients
- Strong understanding of private markets and credit‑based investment structures
- Experience working with adviser platforms such as Hub24, Mason Stevens, or similar
- Commercially driven, relationship‑led, and confident operating in a fast‑paced environment
