Shed Person / Yard Hand - Entry Level Position

Our client is seeking motivated team members to join their busy Mackay Harbour recycling yard. If you’re a mechanically minded forklift driver looking to learn recent skills, we'd love to hear from you.

Duties

- Provide exceptional customer service to customers entering the site
- Load and unload trucks, skip bins and trailers using a counterbalance forklift
- Buying, processing, sorting , and grading of non-ferrous materials
- Manual handling and Forklift Operations
- Assist with general yard duties
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
- Follow all Work Health & Safety policies and procedures

You will require

- Current LF Forklift Licence (counterbalance experience)
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Excellent work ethic and commitment to quality
