Truck Offsider / Warehouse Assistant - VIC

Lifeline Direct (LLD) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lifeline Australia. LLD focuses on supporting the development and ongoing implementation of suicide prevention and community wellbeing programs in the regions which we operate while looking for opportunities to grow Lifeline's services in geographical areas where they do not currently exist.

LLD encompasses Lifeline Centres in Hunter region, Central Coast, Eastern Suburbs-Bondi, New England North West, Northern NSW, Geelong and South West Victoria, Northern and Western Melbourne. Our specialised and targeted servicesoperate nationally via a telehealth model.

This casualrole of Truck Offsider - Warehouse Assistant is based at the Breakwater Warehouseto support Lifeline's retail operations through the safe and efficient collection and delivery of goods and raw product. As the Truck Offsider - Warehouse Assistant, your role will be to support the Driver and Supervisor Warehouse Operations in their daily activities and to relieve the Driver position as/when necessary.

You will be proactive and have a safety focus ensuring the methodical loading, storage, and unloading of goods in a manner that does not endanger any person or object. You will be able to physically meet the demands of this position and have good customer service skills to ensure a positive customer experience.



When not out on delivery or collections, you will be happy to roll up your sleeves and learn new skills to assist the warehouse team in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. You will be able to work unsupervised as well as in a team to achieve LLD's goals.

To be successful in this position you will have:

- Current Class C Driver's License coupled with a safe driving record
- Forklift license (not essential but desirable) or willing to obtain one within 12 months
- Demonstrated experience or willing to learn how to operate a light truck
- Physical ability to meet the demands of the position
- The ability to maintain a high level of internal and external customer service
- Ability to work unsupervised or with limited supervision and be able to prioritize own workload
- Willingness to promote and participate in a team setting
- Have a positive attitude and outstanding personal presentation
- Cultural sensitivity, diversity and awareness
- Able to work safely and productively to achieve the aims of the warehouse
