We're one of Australia's few vertically integrated dairy businesses, with every litre of milk coming directly from our own Holstein herd before being processed, manufactured and packed on-site at our family-owned dairy.

About the Role

This is a full-time salaried position (40 hours per week) working within our dairy manufacturing facility near Dubbo, NSW.

This is a 100% hands-on production role.

If you're looking for an office, administration or management position, this isn't the role for you.

You'll be on the factory floor every day, working alongside the team to manufacture premium dairy products while maintaining the highest standards of quality, food safety and efficiency.

You'll work across all areas of production including:

- Cottage cheese manufacturing
- Butter production
- Milk processing and pasteurisation
- Batch preparation
- Filling and packaging operations
- Cool room operations
- Product changeovers




- Cleaning and sanitation (CIP & manual)
- Quality control and in-process testing
- Continuous improvement initiatives
- General factory operations

Our factory operates across early morning and afternoon/evening shifts, so flexibility is essential.

About You

You are an experienced dairy manufacturing professional who genuinely enjoys making exceptional products.

You understand that premium products don't happen by accident - they come from discipline, attention to detail and pride in every batch.

You're happy getting your hands dirty and working alongside the team every day.

You care about quality just as much as productivity.

Essential Experience

Applicants must demonstrate :

- Previous dairy manufacturing experience
- Proven hands-on experience producing cottage cheese
- Proven experience manufacturing butter
- Experience within small or medium-scale dairy manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of dairy processing principles
- Excellent understanding of food safety systems
- HACCP and Food Safety qualifications (or equivalent)
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to work rotating early morning and afternoon/evening shifts
- Ability to work safely in a physical manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail

- Cultured dairy products
- Cottage cheese process optimisation
- Cream cheese or quark production
- Fermentation and starter cultures
- Pasteurisers
- Plate heat exchangers
- Cheese vats
- Butter churns
- Filling and packaging equipment
- Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems
- ATP environmental monitoring
- pH control and culture management
- GMP
- SQF, BRCGS or FSSC 22000
- Internal food safety auditing
- Lean Manufacturing
- Production troubleshooting
- Mechanical fault finding
- Training and mentoring production staff
