We are looking for a reliable and experienced HC Container Truck Driver to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of shipping containers to and from ports, depots, and customer sites while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and safety.
About the Role
This role involves mainly local container deliveries, working with port operations, container terminals, and transport depots.
You will be part of a supportive team operating a modern fleet of well-maintained vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate HC vehicles transporting shipping containers.
Complete container pickups and deliveries to ports, depots, warehouses, and customer sites.
Ensure all transport documentation is completed accurately.
Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report maintenance issues promptly.
Comply with all NHVR regulations, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management, and company safety procedures.
Secure containers and loads in accordance with industry requirements.
Maintain skilled communication with customers, dispatch, and terminal staff.
Current MSIC Card or willingness to obtain one.
Container transport experience preferred but not essential.
Positive driving record and strong safety focus.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Knowledge of port procedures and container operations is an advantage.
