Kappa, the international sportswear and lifestyle brand, is growing its Australian production team and looking for a Garment Technician.

You’ll have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Garment Technician in sports/performance wear, sharp attention to detail and the ability to think on your feet.

The role is based at our Moorabbin office (Melbourne).

You’ll work closely with our design team, our international factories, suppliers and the Italian head office. Solid communication skills are essential.

Proficient in Microsoft Suite

What you'll be doing:

- Developing technical specifications and grading
- Completing technical drawings in Adobe Suite (advantage)
- Attending fittings for proto, PP and shipping samples
- Actioning changes to specifications and fits accurately and efficiently
- Being responsible for fit, workmanship and QC at proto and PP sample stages to meet our quality standards
- Liaising with overseas factories to make sure the production process is maintained.
