Apprentice Electrician (2nd or 3rd Year)

With rapid and continued growth, we are expanding our installation team and are looking for a motivated 2nd or 3rd year Electrical Apprentice (Must Have basic HVAC installation experience) to grow with us.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Electrical Apprentice who wants hands-on experience in residential HVAC and Heat Pump installations while learning from experienced team leaders.

You’ll assist with installations and maintenance across a variety of systems, gaining exposure to structured workflows, compliance-driven projects, and high installation standards — all while developing the skills needed to progress toward qualification and leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist team leaders with the installation of VEU products, including:
- Heating & cooling systems
- Multi-head units
- VRF systems
- Heat pump systems

- Ensure all works meet safety, quality, and compliance standards
- Work efficiently with the installation team to meet scheduled timeframes
- Represent Green Source professionally on site and with customers
- Complete job notes and installation records accurately
- Assist with service calls and basic fault-finding
- Follow all safety, industry, and company procedures
- Participate in ongoing training and skill development
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth service delivery

What You’ll Bring:

- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Reliable, honest, punctual, and professional attitude
- Willingness to learn and take direction from qualified electricians and management
- Robust focus on workmanship quality and customer satisfaction
- Ability to follow systems, procedures, and instructions

Must-Have Licenses/Certifications:

- Certificate II in Electrotechnology (completed or in progress)
- Basic HVAC installation Experience
- Driver’s licence (minimum provisional)
- Own basic hand tools
