Village Early Education has recently opened our brand-new Centre in Sage Court, Victoria. We are looking for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher with a Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration to join our team.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.

Victorian Institute of Teaching: Full Registration ideal, provisional considered.

Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience teaching young children, preferably in a kindergarten or early childhood setting.

Skills:



Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices in early childhood. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

Attributes: Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for fostering young children’s growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development: Create and deliver engaging programs and experiences tailored to the developmental needs and interests of three-year-old children in line with the VEYLDF.

Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning.

Programming and Planning: Documenting children’s learning and development in line with the VEYLDF.

Family Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with families through effective communication.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and centre management to ensure a harmonious, collaborative work environment and contribute to the overall success of the centre.

Health and Safety: Ensure a safe and healthy environment in compliance with relevant regulations, National Quality Framework and Village Early Education’s policies.
