Our client is a well-established and growing business seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for either a full-time or part-time role within a supportive and professional environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the day-to-day financial operations of the business while also providing payroll, HR administration and compliance support.

About the Role

As the Bookkeeper / Accountant, you will be responsible for:

- Managing daily bookkeeping and accounting functions.

- Processing end-to-end payroll accurately in accordance with relevant awards and pay rates.

- Interpreting and applying union pay rates and conditions, particularly the CFMEU Award.

- Assisting with HR administration, including maintaining employee records and supporting general HR processes.

- Maintaining CM3 compliance documentation and ensuring compliance requirements are met.

- Preparing financial reports and assisting with other accounting functions.

- Providing general administrative support as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:





- A minimum of 4–5 years' experience in bookkeeping or accounting.

- Demonstrated experience processing payroll and interpreting modern awards.

- Strong knowledge of CFMEU pay rates and employment conditions (highly regarded).

- Previous HR administration experience (preferred).

- Experience with CM3 or similar contractor compliance systems.

- Excellent organisational and time management skills.

- High attention to detail with strong accuracy.

- The ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
