Young Minds Academy - Hamlyn Terrace opening late 2026 is looking for a few passionate, caring, and experienced Diploma-qualified Early Childhood Educators to join our team. We are looking for someone who puts child safety first!
What we're looking for:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- At least 2 years' experience in an early learning setting
- Knowledge of the EYLF and NQF
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Current First Aid and Working With Children Check
- HLTAID012 Child Care First Aid certification is required
- Child Protection and Gecko training is mandatory
- Permanent residency in Australia
In this role you will:
- Create and deliver engaging, play-based learning programs
- Work closely with the Educational Leader to plan, reflect and improve programs
- Document children's learning and development
- Ensure child safety in all practice
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Contribute to the service's Quality Improvement Plan
- Support and mentor other team members
