Business Manager - Pharmacy (13-Month Parental Leave Contract)

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Business Manager who is responsible for the achievement of sales, distribution and market share growth across the pharmacy portfolio of accounts. They will develop channel strategy and partner with accounts to implement joint business and marketing plans in line with the brand and strategic direction of Life Space Group.

Reporting to the National Business Manager, this role is responsible for the overall results of their account portfolio in a 13-month fixed-term role. The role is 4 days on-site with the ability to work 1 day from home.

Key components of the role include, but are not limited to:

- Build and maintain relationships with accounts to drive sales growth, distribution, and market share.
- Achieve sales, distribution, volume, and profitability targets.
- Partner with marketing to develop joint sales and marketing plans in line with brand and channel strategy
- Negotiate, implement, and monitor trading terms.
- Review sales performance, promotional activities, and provide business updates with data analysis and category insights.
- Provide timely business updates, data analysis,



and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
- Manage account budgets and profitability, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of business and marketing plans, sharing insights with internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with operations/demand planning to forecast sales accurately, especially during promotional periods.
- Conduct business and range reviews while developing a deep understanding of account needs, requirements, and growth strategies.
- Assist in processing and managing accounts, invoices, and reconciliations accurately.

As the successful candidate, you will require:

- Have minimum of 2 years’ experience in Account Management, within grocery, pharmacy, or independent channels.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Sales within the Pharmacy, FCMG or Retail Sectors.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain positive relationships.
- Solid analytical and decision-making skills.
