The Opportunity

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in your community by providing assessment, intervention, and rehabilitation services to adults aged 18 years and over in a community setting.

In This Role, You Will

- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to clients across the Tamworth region.
- Support safe and effective discharge planning for patients from the Manilla and Barraba inpatient facilities.
- Provide services to residential aged care facilities in Manilla and Barraba.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.

You'll be joining a highly supportive team, with mentorship from an experienced Level 4 Occupational Therapist and collaboration with skilled Level 3 Occupational Therapists. Whether you're looking to further develop your community skills or expand your clinical experience, you'll have access to ongoing education, professional development, and training tailored to your needs. We understand the importance of work-life balance, and we're happy to discuss flexible working arrangements to suit your lifestyle. At NECACS, we value connection as much as collaboration. Our friendly team enjoys regular social events, including monthly lunches, birthday celebrations, and opportunities to come together outside of work-creating a positive, supportive workplace where you'll feel welcomed from day one.

About You

We are looking for a motivated Occupational Therapist who enjoys working autonomously, whilst being part of a larger allied health team, and who enjoys forming relationships with external service providers to ensure explicit communication for referrals and client well-being.
