Adventure calls again! Our lovely Laura is off to continue her travels, so we’re on the lookout for our next superstar Home Helper / All-Rounder to join our friendly Central Queensland station family.

About the Role

This is a mixed and hands-on position helping around the homestead on our cattle property near Clermont. No two days are the same!

Duties include:

- General cleaning and tidying (kitchen, floors, bathrooms, laundry, beds)
- Easy home cooking & baking (slices, muffins, etc.)
- Gardening & helping feed poddy calves/weaners
- Checking stock waters & fences
- Lending a hand with occasional cattle work (drafting, branding, mustering)

Location

We’re located 1 hr 10 mins from Clermont (86 km along the Clermont-Alpha Road, with 46 km gravel) and about 2 hrs from Alpha.

You’ll need to be a competent manual 4x4 driver, and a current manual driver’s licence is essential.




Own transport is an advantage as we’re rural and 86 km from town.

Details

Start: End of October or by 2 November 2025

Minimum stay: 3 months (longer preferred!)

Hours: 5 days per week, full-time

Pay: Great wage, paid fortnightly (with payslips)

Accommodation: Single female room in shared, air-conditioned house with internet, power, meat, and phone provided

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Cheerful, positive, and reliable
- Fit, healthy, and has good common sense
- Tidy, organised, and enjoys a can-do attitude
- A morning person – ready to start at 7:30am!
- Genuinely interested in the bush and outback lifestyle
- This role would suit a mature-aged person, gap-year adventurer, external student, or visa holder looking for sign-off days.
