The Company

Daisy's Garden Supplies is a Victorian family-owned business supplying building, garden, and landscaping materials to Melbourne, Geelong, and beyond for nearly 45 years. Our team of over 200 people works across 9 stores and 4 production sites from Pakenham to Torquay and Colac. We value integrity, hard work, and customer service, and we back our people with teamwork, clear expectations, and practical support. Due to internal movement, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Store Manager to join our Laverton team on a full-time basis.

What you will do

- Providing leadership to the store team
- Provide excellent customer service
- Be responsible for assisting in coordinating daily store activities – customer service, delivery management, inventory and merchandising, presentation, open and close processes etc
- Promote workplace health and safety and environmental compliance
- Support the implementation of operational and strategic improvements at store level




- Undertake customer relationship management & sales growth activities

This is a full-time role with a Monday to Friday, Tuesday to Saturday rotating roster. Flexibility is available for the right candidate.

What you will bring

- Has strong experience working in a customer facing retail environment, ideally with 3-5 years of retail experience
- Has an excellent ability to form and maintain positive customer relationships
- Is comfortable learning to use a computerised point of sale system
- Can provide leadership to the store team
- Previous management or supervisory experience is preferred but not essential
- Experience with or knowledge of landscaping supplies advantageous
