As a key member of the operations crew, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe manufacture of high-quality raw sugar. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced sugar industry professionals looking for a hands‑on role in a well‑established regional business.

Job Opportunity: Sugar Boiler – Rocky Point Sugar Mill, Queensland

Location: Woongoolba (Gold Coast), Queensland
Employment Type: Full time | Shift Work Required

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and monitor vacuum pans for the crystallization of raw sugar
- Adjust process parameters to ensure optimal yield, quality, and efficiency
- Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards during operations
- Record process data and report on equipment performance and production quality




- Work closely with the shift supervisor and maintenance teams to troubleshoot operational issues
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a sugar boiler (or similar role in sugar processing)
- Strong understanding of the pan floor and crystallization process
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends during the crushing season
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
- Commitment to safety and quality standards

Desirable Qualifications:

- Previous experience at a sugar mill in Australia
