Experienced Early Childhood Diploma Educator

Bacchus Marsh Grammar Early Learning Centre is seeking a highly experienced Diploma-qualified Educator to join our Kindergarten program.

This position is suited to an educator with 3 to 5 years’ Room Leader experience who is confident, capable and proactive, and who understands how to work in partnership with a Kindergarten Teacher who leads the educational direction of the room.

We are seeking a professional educator who contributes actively to curriculum and documentation. This is not a passive support role.

This is a full time, ongoing position. Commencement date will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

About the Role

Working alongside the Kindergarten Teacher, you will:





- Support and contribute to the implementation of a high-quality educational program aligned to the Early Years Learning Framework
- Demonstrate initiative and professional judgement in daily practice
- Independently write and structure authentic, individualised observation reports (no template-based documentation)
- Maintain high-quality learning portfolios that reflect intentional teaching
- Create learning environments that are purposeful, engaging and thoughtfully designed
- Build respectful, professional relationships with families and colleagues
- Strong written communication skills and confidence in documentation are essential .

About You

You will hold:

- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Room Leader preferred
- Current Working with Children Check
- First Aid Certification (must be current)
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework
- You bring initiative, professionalism and a genuine commitment to high-quality early education.
