The Role

Linbeck is seeking Ticketed Traffic Control Team Leaders and Traffic Controllers to join our team to safely set up and direct the flow of Traffic (vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists) on our scheduled Gas & Water projects.

As a Traffic Controller your key responsibilities are but not limited to;

- Work safely to direct oncoming traffic (vehicles and pedestrians) as required for the worksite
- Set up and position traffic control equipment on worksites (cones, signs)
- Work closely within a team to manage the flow of traffic
- Direct traffic with stop & slow bats as required for the job
- Control traffic with potable traffic controls and temporary traffic signs as required for the job
- Implement and monitor operational Traffic Management Plans




- Load and unload Linbeck vehicles with traffic signage and equipment
- Complete prestart, site hazard assessments and implement control measures to suit the site
- Perform adhoc tasks associated with all traffic management duties

To be considered for the role you must have

- Previous experience as a Traffic Controller or Team Leader, directing traffic in various conditions
- Must have current Traffic control ticket (Blue)
- Implement Traffic Management Plans ticket (Yellow)
- Prepare Work Zone Card (Red) - Desirable
- Must have Permanent working rights in Australia
- Must have a White card & unrestricted driver’s licence
- Must have own vehicle to drive to site
- Must have own 2-way radio
- Must have a positive work ethic, be highly team orientated and be safety conscientious
