JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide person-centered care and support to our residents while working collaboratively with the broader care team. These positions are specifically designed to provide coverage for planned and unplanned staff leave within the home.

Due to the nature of these roles, successful applicants must be available to work across a variety of shifts and days as required.

About the Candidate

Tamworth Community Aged Care are currently seeking two experienced Personal Care Assistants to join our aged care team in Holiday Relief Roles. These positions are ideal for dedicated and flexible care professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and supporting older people to live with dignity, respect, and independence.

A friendly, focused and driven team, we look to bring on staff with the right attitudes and values to provide the best CARE for our residents, To be considered for these positions, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

- Minimum 2 years' experience working in residential aged care
- Ability to work 64-76 hours per fortnight
- No restrictions on hours, days, or shift availability
- Flexibility to work morning, afternoon, night, weekend, and public holiday shifts as required
- Commitment to providing holiday and leave relief across the home
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing)
- National Police Check (within the last 12 months)
- Current First Aid and CPR qualifications (desirable)
