Full Time (76 hours worked across a 9 Day Fortnight)

Monday to Friday (must be available to start at 8.30am)

Some Saturdays required - when we are short staffed

YOU By Dr Shauna Watts is seeking a passionate people person to join our team in the role of Practice Concierge / Reception. This role involves welcoming our patients and leading their journey through our Newcastle Practice. As the face of our Newcastle Practice you will ensure our valued patients feel welcome and valued from their first interaction to their long term association with our Practice.

Location : Dr Shauna has two locations and this position will be based in The Junction / Merewether

Required Experience: Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate two (2) years' experience working in a cosmetic clinic or specialist medical practice in a reception position. However, we are open to training a person with a great attitude, people management skills and a focus on delivering patient satisfaction.

Excited about developing and maintaining a 'Concierge Experience' for our patients

Confident to be the point of contact for both the staff and patients.

Enjoy working on reception. Meeting patients who come in for a range of treatments & services, including women's health, cosmetic enhancements, laser / dermal skin treatments and other medical issues.

Acting as the Team Leader of our Reception you will be overseeing the Team Roster and filling any gaps due to staff leave or illness.

Working with our People & Culture Consultant to ensure all our valued employees and service providers have a truly awesome experience and can give their best, because they feel their best!

You will understand that some days can be busy, but the support of a friendly team always gets you through!

Hours: Our employees generally work an 8 or 8.5 hour day between 8.30am – 5.30pm with a late night on Thursday. Working longer hours in week 1 and shorter hours in week 2 will ensure work-life-balance.

Qualifications & Experience:

Previous experience working in a high end skincare, medical / surgical reception setting will be highly regarded

Experience in the use of a variety of patient management systems will help you adapt to our software: DappleOS

Interest in women’s health, cosmetic procedures and non-surgical treatments.

Ability to manage patient records with confidentiality

An eye for detail and accuracy in documentation (excellent spelling and grammar)

Great computer skills - you may be the 'go to person' for IT glitches that come up!

A kind, caring and calm telephone voice (making that first personal interaction special)

Willing to be a team player, helping with other ad-hoc duties around the Practice when needed.
