You will play a key role in supporting production staff, maintaining high standards, and ensuring the day-to-day operation of the factory runs efficiently.

This is a full-time position working 8-hour shifts , Monday to Friday, on a rotating tri-weekly roster .

Shift Hours

- Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
- Rotating tri-weekly roster: 3 weeks on AM shift: 5:00am – 1:00pm & 3 weeks on PM shift: 12:30pm – 8:30pm

The roster rotates between 3 weeks of AM shift and 3 weeks of PM shift.

Pay Rate

- $40.00 per hour

Duties & Responsibilities

- Lead and support the production team to achieve daily production targets.
- Ensure production runs safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot basic production issues and elevate where required.
- Assist Process Workers throughout the shift and provide break relief when required.
- Monitor and minimise waste while maximising production output.
- Ensure production KPIs are achieved and standards are consistently maintained.
- Hold team members accountable to company expectations and procedures.
- Complete and maintain production documentation accurately.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Maintain food safety, quality, and workplace health and safety standards.
- Train and develop team members through coaching and hands-on support.
- Lead by example through professionalism, attitude, and work ethic.
- Complete factory opening and closing procedures, including machinery start-up and shutdown.

Skills & Experience

- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience .
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.




- Ability to perform under pressure and make sound decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to provide and receive constructive feedback.
- Positive attitude with a firm but fair leadership style.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, proactive, and committed to achieving results.

Licences & Qualifications

- Forklift Licence preferred but not essential.
- Current First Aid Certificate preferred but not essential.

Training & Development

The successful applicant will begin by learning all production processes as a Process Worker before transitioning into the Production Floor Leader position. This training period is expected to take approximately three months , however candidates who demonstrate exceptional performance and capability may progress sooner.

This hands-on approach ensures our leaders have a thorough understanding of every production process, allowing them to effectively support, train, and lead their team.
