Melrose Pizza is a busy, family-owned, community-centred restaurant in Tullamarine with a loyal customer base and a reputation for outstanding food and service.

We're looking for an experienced Weekend Restaurant Manager to lead our Friday to Sunday services and help deliver exceptional customer experiences.

This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll work closely with the owners, lead our front‑of‑house team during busy service periods and help ensure every shift runs smoothly. You'll be someone who enjoys leading by example, creating a positive team culture and creating an outstanding experience for every customer.

Consistent Weekly Roster

Applicants must be available for all of the following shifts:

Friday

- 10:30am – 2:30pm
- 4:30pm – 9:30pm

Saturday

- 4:30pm – 9:30pm

Sunday

- 4:30pm – 9:30pm

This is an ongoing position with the opportunity for additional shifts for the right candidate.

What you'll be doing

- Leading the restaurant during busy service periods
- Supervising and supporting the front‑of‑house team
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Taking phone, online and in‑store orders
- Operating our POS system and handling payments
- Packing and checking takeaway and delivery orders
- Managing customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally
- Maintaining a clean,



organised and welcoming front‑of‑house area
- Working closely with the owners to ensure every shift runs smoothly

About you

You'll ideally have:

- Previous experience in a hospitality leadership, supervisory or management role
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Confidence leading a team in a fast‑paced workplace
- A positive, reliable and professional attitude
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to lead by example and motivate others

Applicants must also:

- Be available for all listed shifts
- Be currently living in Australia
- Have unrestricted Australian working rights
- Live within a reasonable travelling distance of Tullamarine
