Senior AI Strategy & Governance Consultant | Contract Opportunity

We're currently seeking an experienced Senior AI Strategy & Governance Consultant to lead a strategic AI engagement for a large Australian enterprise.

This role will focus on defining AI strategy, establishing governance frameworks, assessing organisational readiness, and developing executive-level roadmaps for responsible AI adoption.

If you have experience delivering AI strategy, governance, digital transformation, risk, or technology advisory engagements and enjoy working with senior stakeholders, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct AI maturity and readiness assessments
- Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions
- Design AI governance frameworks, operating models, policies, and standards
- Develop Responsible AI controls and risk management approaches
- Assess current AI, automation, and Copilot initiatives
- Identify and prioritise AI opportunities and use cases
- Create strategic AI roadmaps and executive recommendations
- Provide guidance on AI governance, privacy, cybersecurity,



and compliance

What We're Looking For

- Experience delivering AI Strategy, AI Governance, Responsible AI, Digital Transformation, or Data Strategy initiatives
- Solid consulting and stakeholder management capabilities
- Experience engaging executive and senior leadership teamsExcellent communication, facilitation, and business writing skills
- Understanding of AI risk, governance, compliance, and security considerations

Nice to Have

- AI Governance or Responsible AI framework experience
- Experience working in enterprise or highly regulated environments

Victoria preferred, with occasional client site attendance expected.
