Registered Nurses & Enrolled Nurses – Rehabilitation
Central Coast NSW | Flexible Agency Shifts | AM, PM & Night Duty
Are you a compassionate Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with rehabilitation, medical or surgical experience looking for flexible agency work on the Central Coast?
We are currently seeking experienced nurses to join our agency team to support a leading private inpatient rehabilitation facility. With ongoing AM, PM and Night shifts available, this is an excellent opportunity to enjoy flexibility while helping patients regain their independence and achieve the best possible outcomes.
About the Role Working within a specialist inpatient rehabilitation setting, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from illness, surgery, injury or neurological conditions. You will work collaboratively with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation physicians and the wider multidisciplinary team to support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
- Deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred nursing care.
- Monitor and assess patients' clinical condition and report any deterioration.
- Administer medications safely within your scope of practice.
- Assist patients with mobility, personal care and activities of daily living.
- Support patients in achieving individual rehabilitation goals.
- Participate in discharge planning and patient education.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Promote patient independence while ensuring dignity and respect.
- Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety and quality standards.
What We're Looking For
Registered Nurses
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 12 months recent acute hospital or rehabilitation nursing experience.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
Enrolled Nurses
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Minimum 12 months recent hospital or rehabilitation experience.
- Ability to provide high-quality nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Essential Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Minimum 12 months recent nursing experience.
- Previous rehabilitation, medical or surgical ward experience is highly desirable.
- Current National Police Check.
- Current CPR certificate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to patient-centred care.
