About the role The Senior Electrical Project Manager will report to the Regional Electrical Director and will play a key role in managing the successful execution of Electrical, Communications, and Mechanical infrastructure projects within Downer Energy & Utilities. Based in Brisbane, this position involves overseeing all stages of project development, from design through to construction and commissioning, ensuring that each project meets its timeline, budget, and quality standards.

What you'll do

- Manage the complete lifecycle of electrical infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications and stakeholder requirements.
- Coordinate with various teams to facilitate the design, construction, and commissioning processes, ensuring timely and budget-friendly project delivery.

Requirements

- A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the electrical engineering sector.




- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects, with a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of working collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on achieving project goals.
