About the role We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with expertise in robotics, automation, or mechatronic product development. This position is based in Cambridge, and we welcome candidates from the area or those willing to relocate to join a leading agri-tech robotics firm focused on creative autonomous fruit harvesting solutions.

What you'll do

- Design and develop mechanical systems for autonomous fruit harvesting robots.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical components with electronic and software systems.

Requirements

- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design,



preferably in robotics or automation.
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems.

Nice to have

- Experience with mechatronic systems and control theory.
- Familiarity with simulation tools and techniques.

Skills & tools

- CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Mechanical design principles
- Knowledge of robotics and automation technologies
