The Role

You will take full site responsibility for a new $15M community and residents’ facility within a developing greenfield precinct in Melbourne’s west.

The project is a single-level Design and Construct build with a high-end residential feel, including detailed finishes, substantial landscaping, external works and an outdoor pool.

You will be responsible for:





- Managing the project from bare ground through to handover
- Coordinating subcontractors, trades and site resources
- Driving the construction programme and short-term planning
- Maintaining safety, quality and site presentation standards
- Managing detailed finishes, landscaping and external works
- Liaising with the client, consultants and project team
- Resolving day-to-day construction issues and maintaining momentum
- Operating effectively while surrounding roads and infrastructure continue to develop

Join an established Melbourne commercial builder with a wide-ranging portfolio across education, community, institutional and general commercial construction.

The business delivers projects of different sizes and levels of complexity, providing its Site Managers with ongoing exposure beyond one sector or building type. Strong project systems, accessible leadership and experienced delivery teams will support you throughout the build.

Are you suitable?

This role is suited to an established Site Manager who can independently deliver a commercial project valued around $15M.

You are likely to have:

- Proven experience running commercial new builds from commencement to completion - as a Site Manager
- Strong capability delivering projects valued around $15M or above
- Experience coordinating structure, detailed finishes and external works
- Confidence managing programme, subcontractors, safety and quality
- Education, school, community or premium residential experience within a commercial construction environment
- Strong client facing communication and practical problem solving skills
