About the Role

We are looking for a Full Time General Manager to lead the ongoing operation of our restaurant, cellar door, and event spaces. As General Manager, you will oversee these venues as a whole, leading a high-performing team across departments and ensuring outstanding guest service, operational excellence, and financial performance. You will be a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, inspires those around you, and takes pride in shaping a premium hospitality destination.

To thrive in this role, you will have 5+ years prior experience in a comparable senior leadership role within a premium restaurant, cellar door, or hospitality business, where you have applied strong business acumen and shown excellent leadership in a high-end, fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

You will:

- Oversee day-to-day operations across the restaurant, cellar door, and event spaces, including staff performance, guest service standards, and product quality;
- Ensure effective financial management, controlling costs (food, labour, and operational) to meet budgets and profit targets;
- Build and develop the team structure, with the opportunity to shape roles, hire, and grow your people;
- Lead people practices including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, development, and offboarding;
- Develop team members' product knowledge and role capabilities to exceed Levantine Hill Estate's business objectives;
- Partner with ownership and senior leadership to establish operational standards, systems, and processes across the business;




- Champion a culture of genuine hospitality that reflects Levantine Hill's reputation for world-class wine, dining, and guest experiences.

You will also:

- Be highly professional, polished, and guest-oriented, with an unwavering commitment to premium service standards;
- Be confident, calm, and approachable, with the ability to lead and inspire a team across a busy, multi-faceted operation;
- Bring genuine passion for hospitality, food, and wine, and a strong understanding of what true luxury service looks like;
- Be motivated to grow and develop your career as part of a business with ambitious plans for domestic and international expansion;
- Hold a valid RSA and First Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain.
