An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SeniorFinance Banking Officer to join the Finance Team at Brandbank Group.

This role requires solid analytical and numerical abilities and will be responsible for capturing, reconciling and reporting on store banking and petty cash.

THE ROLE:

- Manage high volume, high complexity data.
- Reconcile daily retail store banking, investigating and escalating issues as required.
- Reconcile store petty cash reports in line with company policy
- General ledger bank reconciliations in both local and foreign currencies
- Prepare banking journals for month end reporting
- Utilise multiple systems to obtain all required data
- General administration and other ad hoc duties where required
- Liaise with the Retail Operations department, store teams and banks
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations
- Reviewing banking processes, providing process improvement suggestions as required
- Providing accurate reporting to internal stakeholders.
- On-site 5 days per week in our St Kilda Rd offices.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

- Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
- Prior experience in a Retail Finance Banking role preferred.
- A solid understanding of banking across a large store portfolio and the nuances of retail transactions.
- Intermediate Microsoft office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Microsoft D365 is highly regarded
- Experience with general ledger accounting systemspreferred
- Natural problem-solver
- Strong time management abilities and able to work to deadlines
- Excellent communication skills.




- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
