About the Opportunity:
We're on the hunt for an experienced Roadworthy Vehicle Tester to join our team at Waverley BMW!
This role will require you to:
- Conduct comprehensive internal and road-worthy inspections on BMW/other make vehicles, identifying and diagnosing both mechanical and electrical issues.
- Execute routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
- Utilise advanced diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and address complex automotive issues.
- Ensure all repairs meet or exceed BMW (if applicable) standards and specifications.
- Collaborate effectively with the service team to prioritise and complete repairs efficiently.
- Maintain precise and detailed records of all repairs and services performed.
- Stay current with BMW training and certifications to uphold the highest professional standards.
The ideal candidates will have the following attributes:
- Qualified Automotive Technician with sound mechanical knowledge and exceptional diagnostic skills
- A dedication to customer satisfaction
- Organisational and time management skills
- Experience working in an automotive service workplace
- A problem solver with technical aptitude
- Proven experience as a qualified BMW technician/ roadworthy technician, with an extended focus on internal and road-worthy inspections for all makes.
- Possession of relevant certifications from a recognised automotive training program.
- In-depth knowledge of BMW systems, components, and proficiency in using diagnostic tools.
- Meticulous attention to detail and precision in diagnostic and repair work.
