The Position

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a full time, permanent Consultant Anaesthetist to join the largest hospital in Central Queensland—a rapidly expanding service with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and workforce growth.

As a senior member of the department, you will:

- Deliver comprehensive pre-operative, peri-operative, and post-operative anaesthetic care
- Provide input into HDU management and emergency responses
- Supervise and mentor Registrars, Provisional Fellows, PHOs, Junior House Officers and Interns within an accredited training department
- Participate in an expanding and increasingly complex caseload as Central Queensland’s healthcare needs continue to grow

Requirements

Applicants must hold:

- FANZCA, or
- NZ FANZCA, or
- Equivalent international postgraduate qualifications that meet ANZCA requirements, or
- SIMGs with an ANZCA assessment outcome of *Substantially Comparable*
