Applications are invited for a qualified and enthusiastic Secondary Teacher – Mathematics / Science to join the MacKillop Catholic College team, commencing Term 3, 2026. Ability to teach senior secondary subjects is welcomed.

Commencing: Term 3, 2026 – 17th August 2026 (negotiable).

Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Position (Part Time will be considered).

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience – Graduate $86,600 to Lead Teacher $147,048 FTE Gross per annum + 12.75% super.

About The Role

The teachers will play a vital role in the next phase of strategic growth of the College. The role involves the day‑to‑day teaching of the secondary school curriculum for Years 7‑12 in 2025.

The Teacher is expected to demonstrate excellence in the knowledge, understanding and research of their Learning Area, and will actively contribute to the holistic education offered at MacKillop Catholic College.

Responsibilities

prepare and deliver effective learning and teaching programmes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the school objectives and planning.
- Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a supportive school environment.

- Be registered or eligible to register with the Queensland College of Teachers.
