The Opportunity - Head of Campus - Rivercrest Middle Years
CREST Education is seeking an exceptional educational leader to become Head of Campus – Rivercrest Christian College, Middle Years.
This is a significant leadership opportunity overseeing one of our six campuses, leading the educational, pastoral and operational life of the Rivercrest Middle Years Programme campus. Reporting directly to the CREST Deputy Principal – Campus Operations, the successful applicant will work collaboratively with their peers, staff and senior leadership to ensure every student experiences excellence in learning, wellbeing and Christian formation.
This role requires an experienced and relational leader who is passionate about adolescent education, staff development and fostering a thriving Christian learning community within the International Baccalaureate framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide visible and inspiring leadership of the Rivercrest Middle Years campus.
- Lead the implementation of CREST’s strategic vision, Christian ethos and educational priorities.
- Foster a culture of high expectations, student wellbeing and academic excellence.
- Lead and develop teaching and professional staff through coaching,
mentoring and performance development.
- Ensure the effective implementation and continual improvement of the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme.
- Build strong partnerships with students, families and the wider College community.
- Oversee campus operations, student engagement and pastoral care in collaboration with College leaders.
- Contribute as an active member of the CREST Education leadership team.

- Demonstrated success in a substantive middle leadership position within a school setting.
- Outstanding instructional leadership with a proven ability to improve teaching, learning and student outcomes.
- Exceptional leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience leading high-performing teams and developing staff capability.
- Robust organisational and strategic thinking skills.
- The ability to foster a positive, collaborative and Christ-centred culture.

Essential Selection Criteria
- A genuine and active commitment to the Christian faith and the mission, vision and values of CREST Education.
- Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (or eligibility).
- Demonstrated success in a substantive middle leadership position within a school setting.
- Demonstrated capacity to lead teaching and learning, student wellbeing and staff performance within a contemporary secondary school environment.
- The ability to meet and demonstrate the key selection criteria, including the inherent requirements of the role, as outlined in the Position Description.
