Mobile Attendant Care Service (MACS) is a non-profit, charitable organisation that operates in the Brisbane community.
We offer 24/7 personalised and flexible support solutions 365 days a year for those with a physical disability.
Our shorter Lifestyle Assist shifts operate from early in the morning until late in the evening.
Your main responsibility will be enhancing the comfort and lifestyle of our clients' individual support needs.
A typical shift involves: driving to a client's home (in your own vehicle), assistance with personal care and hygiene, transfers/hoisting, dressing, medication assistance, assistance to eat/drink, community access, meal prep, following a task list, and any other assistance they may need.
Our flexible Drop-In team operates 24/7 to provide anytime support to clients on a planned or call-in basis.
A typical shift involves: a lot of driving between clients (vehicle provided), assistance with personal care and hygiene, transfers/hoisting, dressing, medication assistance, re-positioning, wellbeing checks, assistance to eat/drink, and many other small tasks.
Our staff work a scheduled run, dropping in to clients for 5 minutes up to 1 hour, giving clients flexibility and peace of mind that someone is always available to respond to their needs.
We are looking to add multiple Support Workers to our team that uphold and represent our core values of providing support that is reliable, flexible and responsive.
These positions are suitable for students, those with working holiday visas, or anyone looking for casual ongoing work.
We have the following opportunities: (North Side and South Side based)
Lifestyle Assists: A range of shifts from 2-4 hours assisting individual clients to either prepare for their day, go out into the community, or assist in the home.
You will take your own vehicle to clients' houses and assist with a range of support depending on the client.




The following opportunities are available Between Monday to Sunday:
Griffin: 6:30am – 8:30am (Female support workers only)
Bridgeman Downs: 8:00am – 12:30pm (Female support workers only)
Gaythorne: 9:00am – 3:00pm (Female support workers only)
Nundah: 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Cannon Hill: 7:00am – 9:00am (Female support workers only)
Wakerley: 2:00pm – 4:00pm (Female support workers only)
Afternoon & Active Overnight Shifts
These shifts are based from our Kedron Headquarters, with support workers using a company shift vehicle.
Available shift times include:
5:00pm – 10:30pm (Monday–Sunday)
5:00pm – 12:00am (Monday–Sunday)
9:00pm – 6:00am (Monday–Sunday)
Active Overnight Shifts – Southside
Based from our Eight Mile Plains Headquarters, using a company shift vehicle.
Available shift:
10:00pm – 6:00am (Monday–Sunday)
Casual Shift-Fill Opportunities
We are also recruiting ongoing casual shift-fill support workers across both our Kedron and Eight Mile Plains teams.
These roles are ideal for applicants looking for versatile work and who are available to pick up shifts across a variety of days and times.
Applicants must have flexibility to work a changing roster each week and be adaptable around varying support requirements and availability.

Qualifications & Experience
Qualification in Community Services, Disability, Individual Support, or similar (preferred but not essential).
Willingness to provide personal care and domestic assistance.
Current Driver's Licence (international licences accepted).
NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module, or willingness to obtain.
Current First Aid & CPR, or willingness to obtain within one month.
