We're partnering with a highly respected skilled services organisation seeking a Financial Analyst with strong Power BI capability to help transform financial reporting and deliver valuable commercial insights across the business.This is far more than a traditional reporting role.
You'll work closely with the Financial Controller to develop interactive dashboards, automate reporting, build financial models and provide analysis that supports better business decisions.
If you're someone who enjoys improving processes and embraces emerging technologies—including AI—you'll thrive in this position.What You'll Be DoingDesigning, building and maintaining Power BI dashboards that provide meaningful business insights.Developing automated reporting solutions that improve efficiency and reduce manual reporting.Preparing budgets, forecasts and financial models.Analysing financial and operational performance to identify trends, risks and opportunities.Producing monthly management reports and executive reporting packs.Supporting scenario modelling,
profitability analysis and commercial decision‐making.Working with stakeholders across the business to understand reporting requirements and deliver practical solutions.Exploring opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve reporting, forecasting and financial analysis.About YouWe're looking for someone who enjoys solving business problems through data and can confidently build reporting solutions from the ground up.You'll ideally have:Experience in a Financial Analyst, Commercial Analyst or FP&A; position.Advanced Power BI skills, including building dashboards, creating meaningful visualisations and developing reports from scratch.Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.Experience preparing budgets, forecasts and management reporting.Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Exposure to AI tools, automation or modern reporting technologies such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Power Automate or similar will be highly regarded.CA/CPA (or working towards) is desirable but not essential.What's On Offer$120,000 packageOpportunity to shape reporting and dashboard capability across the business.Significant exposure to senior leadership and commercial decision‐making.A collaborative, forward-thinking finance team.Genuine opportunity to influence how data, reporting and AI are used within the organisation.
