We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team at Sunrise Endocrinology in Chatswood.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract (part-time) with the potential for extension.As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in delivering a warm, professional experience while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our specialist practice.Applicants must hold a valid work visa or have appropriate work rights in Australia.Key responsibilitiesGreet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional mannerManage appointment scheduling and diary coordinationRespond to patient enquiries (phone, email, in-person)Maintain accurate patient records using our digital systemsAssist with billing and administrative processesEnsure reception and waiting areas are well-presentedProvide general administrative support to the clinical teamAbout youStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPrevious experience in a medical or customer service role is preferred (training provided)Entry level candidates are also welcome to apply with training provided for those new to medical receptionHighly organised with strong attention to detailComfortable using technology as we are digital medical practiceAbility to multitask and prioritise in a busy environmentProfessional, reliable, and patient-focusedWorking hoursMonday to Friday: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm (30 hours/week)About usSunrise Endocrinology is a specialist endocrine practice in Chatswood, located next to the train station.Our team includes Endocrinologists, Dietitians, and Diabetes Educators working collaboratively to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care in a warm and professional workplace.A National Police Check and Working with Children Check (WCCC) is a prerequisite for the shortlisted candidates.
