We're a growing Hunter Valley family business and are looking for experienced Field Service Technicians to join our team.

You'll work from a fully maintained and equipped field service ute, backed by our modern workshop in Thornton and an experienced team that's there when you need support.

What We Offer
$50–$55+/hr depending on experience
Fully maintained and equipped field service ute
Monday–Friday day shift
Overtime available
Modern workshop based in Thornton
Variety of work across civil, construction and earthmoving equipment
Work on leading brands including CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Volvo, John Deere, Kobelco, and more
Ongoing training in diagnostics, hydraulics, auto electrical and new technology
Quality tools, organised systems and strong workshop support

The Role
As a Field Service Technician you'll be responsible for:
Servicing and repairing earthmoving and heavy plant equipment
Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical faults
Carrying out breakdown repairs and scheduled maintenance




Managing your own jobs while delivering excellent customer service
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
Representing ARB Earthmoving Repairs professionally on customer sites
You'll have the freedom to manage your own work while knowing there's always support available from an experienced team when you need it.
What We're Looking For
Trade qualification in Plant Mechanics, Diesel Fitting or Heavy Vehicle Mechanics
Experience working on earthmoving, civil or construction equipment
Strong diagnostic and fault‐finding ability
Reliable, self-motivated and professional attitude
Ability to work independently
Commitment to quality workmanship and customer service
Current Australian Driver Licence
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
Bonus Points
3+ years post-trade experience
Hydraulic or auto electrical experience
OEM diagnostic experience
High Risk Work Licences or additional industry tickets
