10d ago , from Illawarra Mercury Job BoardAPG Workforce are currently seeking an experienced Welder (TIG) for an exciting prospect based at the Homebush Rail Equipment Centre.Location: Homebush, NSWStart Date: ASAP (pending checks)Duration: 6 months (with potential extension)Hours: 7:15am – 3:45pm, 38 hours per weekRDO: 1 RDO every 4 weeks (no 9-day fortnight)Key Responsibilities:Perform TIG welding on stainless steel (up to 6mm thickness) in line with Australian StandardsEnsure all work meets strict quality and safety standardsWork collaboratively to meet project deadlinesRequirements:Strong experience in TIG welding (essential)Experience with MIG welding on mild steelSolid fabrication skillsAbility to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standardsMust have own welding helmet (all other equipment provided on-site)PPE Requirements:Safety bootsWelding helmetGeneral PPE
