Site Supervisor (Commercial Plastering)

A well-established commercial contractor with a strong pipeline of work, looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to join the team.
Based in regional NSW, the immediate focus is a healthcare project, with plenty of prospect to grow and plant your feet long-term.
A background in plastering, internal linings, and wall and ceiling systems is essential, and be open to relocating to the area and growing with us long-term.
This is an opportunity to join a strong established business with over two decades of operation, delivering major commercial and healthcare projects across regional NSW.
The group operates across construction, plumbing, hydraulic services, and steel framing, with a long-term pipeline of secured work already in place.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll be trusted to run structured daily routines on site, coordinate trades, and keep projects moving safely and on programme.
This role suits someone equally comfortable leading an early morning toolbox meeting and sitting across the table from a client representative in the afternoon.

What You'll Be Doing
Run daily toolbox meetings and afternoon coordination meetings with clients and other trades.
Manage construction sequencing across wall types, internal linings, suspended ceilings, and fire-rated systems.
Prepare and maintain inspection and test plans, SWMS, and safety compliance records.




Complete daily site reports and manage dayworks documentation and correspondence.
Coordinate subcontractors and other trades to keep work on programme and avoid sequencing conflicts.
Liaise with the principal contractor's site representative, maintaining a professional and productive working relationship.
Work closely with the Sydney-based Project Manager on programme, quality, and commercial matters.
About You
You'll be a practical, organised leader who runs a tight site and takes pride in delivering quality commercial work.
Ideally, you'll have:
A plastering trade background with solid hands‐on experience in plastering and wall and ceiling systems.
Site supervision experience on commercial construction projects.
A thorough understanding of various wall types, fire‐rated assemblies, and steel framing systems.
Competence with inspection and test plans, SWMS preparation, and safety compliance requirements.
Confidence managing daily site reporting, dayworks records, and written correspondence.
Strong communication skills to manage trades, subcontractors, and client representatives professionally.
The ability to read plans and manage construction sequencing with confidence.
Proficiency with technology for site documentation and reporting.
