Quality Inspector - Maternity Leave Contract ***** MonthsActiv Pharmaceuticals - Smeaton Grange NSWActiv Pharmaceuticals, based in Smeaton Grange, manufactures liquid and cream products in cosmetic and therapeutic grades and is a part of the Activ Pharmaceuticals Group.We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Inspector to join our team on a ***** month maternity leave contract.
This role is responsible for supporting the Quality Assurance and Production functions through the management of manufacturing and packaging documentation, quality systems, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the issuance of Manufacturing Work Orders and Packaging Work Orders.Support customer complaint investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and Change Control processes.Prepare and maintain production documentation for QA review and approval.Verify compliance with production line checks, line start-up, and line clearance activities.Issue packaging material codes within the Standard Names Register.Review and approve printed packaging materials prior to the commencement of production.Manage and maintain Pharmaceutical Quality System (PQS) documentation in accordance with approved SOPs, including document issuance, review, approval, revision,



and archiving.Assist with the preparation for internal and external audits and support audit activities.Ensure all activities are performed safely and in accordance with company policies, GMP requirements, legislative obligations, and regulatory standards.Undertake other duties as reasonably requested by management.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:A qualification in Science, Pharmacy, or a related discipline.2+ years' experience in a Quality Assurance or GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.A sound understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements.Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.Experience with quality documentation, document control, and production records.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.The ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.A commitment to maintaining high quality standards and regulatory compliance.About UsIn return, Activ Pharmaceuticals will offer:An immediate start working a 38-hour week with a 2.30pm finish on a Friday.Competitive salary.On site parking.The support of a professional team working in a safe setting.An equitable and ethical workplaceEmployee Assistance Programme
