This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, highly organised, and service-driven, with the ability to support families through sensitive and meaningful moments while coordinating professional funeral services.
The RoleAs a Funeral Conductor / Arranger, you will work closely with families and the local team to arrange and conduct dignified funeral services.
You will play a key role in ensuring services run smoothly while providing empathetic, skilled support to families during their time of need.
Key responsibilities include:
Meeting with families to arrange and coordinate funeral services in line with their wishesConducting and overseeing funeral services with professionalism and respectProviding exceptional customer service to families, clients, and internal stakeholdersSupporting day-to-day operations at the locationEnsuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and quality standardsAssisting with preparation, coordination, and service delivery as requiredContributing to a collaborative and respectful team environmentSupporting health, safety,



and wellbeing standards in the workplace
About YouEssential:
Experience in a service-focused environment or the ability to quickly learnCurrent unrestricted driver's licenceComfortable working in circumstances involving death, grief, and deceased personsStrong communication skills with a calm, empathetic approachHigh attention to detail and ability to follow instructionsSensitivity and respect for diverse values, beliefs, and cultural practicesPhysically and psychologically fit to manage manual handling, stress, and the inherent requirements of the role
Desirable:
Exposure to or understanding of the funeral services industry, or willingness to learnBackground in hospitality, retail, community services, or a similar people-focused industry
