Based at our Ingleburn plastics manufacturing facility and reporting to the Plant Manager, you'll be the site's second-in-command, leading day-to-day manufacturing and maintenance operations across a 24/7 facility.
You'll play a key role in maximising plant reliability, developing frontline leaders and delivering safe, efficient operations while supporting continuous improvement and long-term business performance.What You'll DoLead manufacturing and maintenance activities across a 24/7 operation.Maximise plant reliability, equipment availability and production output.Develop, coach and support a team of approximately 40 manufacturing employees.Deliver Lean initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce waste and optimise costs.Manage maintenance planning, operational budgets and site resources.Coordinate equipment upgrades and minor capital improvement projects.Maintain compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer and business outcomes.What You'll BringLeadership experience within high-volume manufacturing, FMCG or packaging.Experience managing production, maintenance or engineering operations.Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and problem solving.Proven ability to improve equipment reliability and operational performance.Solid leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.Trade qualification or Engineering degree (Mechanical or Manufacturing preferred).
