About the Role
As a PDI Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring all new vehicles are prepared to manufacturer and dealership standards before delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on new vehicles.
Performing quality control inspections before customer delivery.




Installing accessories and genuine parts where required.
Checking and topping up fluids where applicable.
Conducting software updates and basic diagnostic scans.
Charging and preparing EVs for customer delivery.
Maintaining accurate inspection records.
Reporting any defects or transport damage.
Working closely with the workshop and sales teams to meet delivery deadlines.
Keeping your work area clean and following all safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
Minimum 1 year of automotive workshop or PDI experience.
Trade qualification or apprenticeship (completed or currently undertaking) is advantageous.
Basic mechanical knowledge and attention to detail.
Ability to follow manufacturer procedures.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Current Australian Driver License (manual license preferred but not essential).
Experience with EVs is advantageous but not required—training will be provided.
