Over this time we have established ourselves to be a leading manufacturer of road tank vehicles, trailers and infrastructure for industries associated with the energy and environmental management sectors.About the RoleWe currently have multiple positions available for Mechanical Fittersbased in our Wacol, Queensland manufacturing facility.
An immediate start with overtime available.You will ideally be able to work with a team to assemble a range of products such as pressure vessels, walkways and ladders, chassis sub-frames, heavy vehicle modifications, transport equipment, and other associated equipment.




On-the-job training will be provided.Reporting to the Workshop Foreman your responsibilities include;Assembly of heavy vehicle componentsPneumatic control system and hydraulics installationCommissioning and testing of completed equipmentWork as part of a team to ensure projects are delivered on time to a high qualityComplete quality checks as directed on completed equipmentAssist in training/guidance of apprentices and trade-assistantsPreferred Skills and experienceCompetent in selection and use of fasteners to bolt-up assembliesAssembly of screwed and flange piping systemsRouting and installation of pneumatic controlsTrade Qualified (Certificate III)Supply of basic hand tools suitable for the task requiredFamiliarity with heavy vehicle operationBasic welding ability in MIG & TIG processesHeavy vehicle licenseHigh Risk work license for ForkliftJob benefits and perksImmediate startPlenty of overtime availableA 3-month, casual full time probation period applies to this role.
