Job Title: Maintenance OfficerLocation: Hunters Hill, SydneyHourly Rate: $42ph + SuperOn-going until end of the yearWe are currently seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Officer to support the day-to-day operations of a busy site.
This role is ideal for someone with strong practical skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.Position OverviewThe Maintenance Officer will be responsible for providing general maintenance support across the site, assisting with basic carpentry tasks, and supporting operational logistics such as moving equipment and materials.
The role requires flexibility, physical capability, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and well-presented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out general maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and preventative maintenancePerform basic carpentry work (desirable, but not essential)Assist with site logistics, including moving furniture, equipment,



and materialsSupport the overall upkeep and presentation of buildings and outdoor areasIdentify maintenance issues and elevate where requiredWork collaboratively with the broader facilities and maintenance teamEnsure all work is carried out in accordance with safety and compliance requirementsKey RequirementsPrevious experience in a maintenance, handyman, or similar roleBasic carpentry skills preferred but not mandatoryPhysically fit and capable of manual handling tasksStrong teamwork and communication skillsAbility to follow instructions and work independently when requiredPositive attitude and willingness to assist across various tasksWork ScheduleRotating shifts: 7:00am - 3:00pm and 10:00am - 6:00pmFlexibility to alternate shifts throughout the week is essentialCompliance RequirementsA valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to commencementThis is an excellent prospect for a motivated individual who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in maintaining a safe, functional, and well-organised environment.
