The Company:
Our meat industry partner is a well established wholesale meat business supplying quality meat products to customers across South East Queensland.
With a reputation for reliability, quality and customer service, they're seeking an experienced Pick Pack Team Leader to join their afternoon shift operation based in Morningside.
The Role:
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you'll lead a small team of three while remaining hands on throughout the shift.
Working Sunday to Thursday from 3pm – 11pm, your responsibilities will include:
Leading, mentoring and supporting the afternoon shift pick pack team.
Labelling and replenishing stock between 3pm and 6pm.
Picking and packing customer orders from 6pm to 11pm.
Ensuring orders are picked accurately and dispatched on time.
Maintaining stock accuracy and inventory control.
Ensuring food safety,
quality and warehouse standards are maintained.
Working closely with the Warehouse Manager to improve efficiency and workflow.
Leading by example and creating a positive, productive team environment.
The Candidate:
Previous experience in pick packing within a warehouse, food manufacturing or cold storage environment.
Experience leading or supervising a small team.
Solid understanding of warehouse operations and the end to end supply chain.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
A proactive, positive attitude with the initiative to identify and solve problems.
Strong, clear communication and organisational skills.
A hands on leadership style with the ability to motivate and support others.
Meat industry experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.
The Offer:
Up to $80,000 + Super (depending on experience).
Permanent full time position.
Sunday to Thursday 3pm – 11pm.
