We're passionate about serving our communities and our team of Journey Makers – as they're known – are proud to do so.Your role and responsibilities:Repairing, servicing, and maintaining buses to meet regulatory standardsRoad testing vehicles as requiredAttending breakdowns on and off-siteIdentifying and repairing vehicle defectsThe talent you bringCurrent NSW MVTC Motor Mechanic trade certificate (essential) + TAFE Cert III Heavy Vehicle Commercial Vehicle Mechanical TechnologyCurrent HR drivers license (or ability to obtain)Computer literacy for accurate maintenance record keepingCapability to supervise and assist in training apprentices and trade assistantsExperience with scan tools (desirable)Experience in bus maintenance and public transport operations (desirable)We Offer:Potential annual earnings of up to 100K + super (including shift allowance and overtime)Current hourly rate:



$*******ph (inclusive of industry allowance)EBA pay increases in January **** and January ****Regular opportunities for paid overtimeA monthly rostered day off (RDO)4-5 weeks annual leaveFortnightly rotating day/afternoon roster with shift allowancesTools and uniforms suppliedCareer development opportunities, including training for the latest electrical vehicle technologyFree staff bus from Central (departure times vary)A FREE staff Opal card is available for work and personal travelHours of work:After an initial training period on day shift, you will commence a 2-week rotating roster which includes work on Saturdays and Sundays.Day shift: 6am-2.30pmMid shift: *****am-7pm (15% shift allowance is payable for the entire shift)Afternoon shift: 2.30pm- 11pm (15% shift allowance is payable for the entire shift)Location:Randwick - free site parking available and close to Randwick Racecourse Light Rail stopFuture Focus:Be part of our journey towards a sustainable future!
