About the role
As our Quality and Compliance Officer, you'll play an important role in helping Campbell Scientific Australia maintain the high standards our customers know and trust.
Working closely with teams across the business, you'll support and strengthen our quality systems, business processes, and compliance activities, helping us continuously improve the way we work.
You'll collaborate with colleagues across Australia and the global Campbell Scientific network to identify opportunities for improvement, coordinate quality and compliance initiatives, and ensure our systems and processes support our strategic goals.
This is a role for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and driving positive change in a collaborative workplace.
What you'll be doing
Play a key role while acting in alignment with
Campbell Scientific's ARCTIC values

Champion quality and continuous improvement by reviewing and enhancing business processes across the organisation.
Maintain and improve our ISO **** Quality Management System, including supporting audits, documentation, and ongoing compliance.
Coordinate quality and compliance initiatives, ensuring actions are tracked through to completion and opportunities for improvement are identified.
Manage product compliance activities, ensuring products meet Australian regulatory requirements and supporting documentation is maintained.
Work closely with our global Campbell Scientific team to coordinate new product releases, product changes, and compliance requirements.
Monitor quality, service, and repair performance, reporting on key metrics and helping drive improvements to customer outcomes.
Partner with department leaders to develop, review, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and business documentation.
Investigate quality issues, coordinate corrective actions, and support teams to resolve problems and prevent recurrence.
Build strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and global colleagues to ensure consistent quality and compliance across the business.
Contribute to a culture of operational excellence by identifying opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency, and support business success.
What we're looking for
Experience in quality assurance, compliance, continuous improvement, or a similar role.
Knowledge of ISO **** quality management systems and quality assurance principles.
Qualifications in quality management, compliance, or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and follow through on actions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and build positive working relationships.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for improving processes.
Confidence working with documentation, procedures, and quality records, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
A proactive, customer-focused approach with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and drive positive change.
An interest in technology, science, engineering, or environmental monitoring, and a willingness to learn about our products and industry.
